If there was one item that saved my sanity during this move it was the Dock a Tot. Now some of you may be wondering what is a Dock a Tot?? Well my friends get ready to be amazed by one of the best things you'll ever need/want for your kids.
First off this item should be everyones baby registry. Second off if you have toddlers this should also be on your (I mean their) christmas list! My kids love their docks. And let me tell you it has saved Ruby's sleep during this huge transition. We had to take down her crib during the move to put into storage and because of that she's been sleeping on just her mattress for the past 3 nights and the next 2 until we move to our new place. But even then she won't be back in her crib she'll be in her big girl bed! I was so worried about the change and how she was going to handle it. Not only that I was worried about my sleep or how much sleep I wasn't going to be getting. I was so scared she would be climbing out of her bed all night and early hours of the morning. Thankfully I had her Dock a Tot. I put that bad boy on her mattress and it made her feel the same snugness she had when she was in her crib. The first night was still a little iffy but the next two went much better. She snuggled right into dock and curled up with her blanket and slept until 8:30 the next morning! Yes, I'm being serious, these things are that good.
